Here’s what’s happened at the 2026 Gala

On Friday, June 12, 2026, 5:30 – 10:30 at the Holiday Inn Research Park, Huntsville, AL, join Invisible Warriors in your ball gowns, fancy dresses, or best suits! The Silent No More gala is elevating the visibility of women who have served in the military, recognizing and appreciating the service they have rendered since the Revolutionary War days, so come on out and join us! All are welcome to celebrate with us at our sit-down buffet dinner.

Lesley-Anne Crumpton will be our keynote speaker. An Observer/Advisor for the Integration of Women into Army Ranger School, she will be sharing about life in the military.

The Twickenham Jazz Band will also perform for us all through the evening, including dancing after the formal events up to 10:30 pm.

A silent auction with a variety of great items to bid on is another opportunity to raise more funds for the amazing military women that Invisible Warriors serves.

Dignitaries will also be on hand to read the proclamation honoring Women Veterans Recognition Day, commemorating that Alabama was the 21st state to recognize the 1948 Women’s Armed Services Integration Act.

Women Veterans Recognition Day, observed annually on June 12, honors the contributions of female veterans, often seen as “Invisible Warriors.”  This recognition fosters community appreciation for the dedication of women who served in the military.

Former Captain Lesley-Anne Crumpton served for eight years on active duty with the US Army as a Military Police Officer. She served one tour in Afghanistan with Joint Special Operations Command in 2012-13. CPT Crumpton assisted with integrating women into the US Army Ranger School for the first time in history in 2015. She completed her time in service as a Company Commander with 502nd Military Police Battalion, Criminal Investigation Command in 2018.

CPT Crumpton grew up in Madison, AL, and graduated from Bob Jones High School and received her bachelor’s from UAHuntsville in Political Science and her MA in Public Affairs and Policy. She also graduated with an MA in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University.

CPT Crumpton currently works for Polaris Industries as a Security Specialist and works closely with local law enforcement. She enjoys riding her Indian motorcycle and serving at Decatur Baptist Church in the choir.
