Nancy Becher, Founder and President
Is a chronic illness warrior and disability advocate. She has a Masters in Counseling, a PhD (abd) in sociology, and in 2022 studied with the Ministry with Disabilities for a year towards certification.
2014 started out as a great year for her until she was picking up her parents from a senior center potluck and one of the other attendees slammed into her with his car, knocking her out of her car and into a drainage ditch where she twisted her body back and forth. Five doctors and six months later, she was finally diagnosed with torn tendons, ligaments, and broken bones.

Immediate surgery fixed (for a time) the physical injuries but also caused her to get Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, devastating nerve damage often called the suicide disorder. After 16 surgeries, two spinal stimulators, and innumerable doctors to figure out what was wrong to try and stop the pain, she has put her knowledge and experience to work and has created this 501c3 to help others who are going through similar mental and physical anguishing journeys.
It is her passion to support others while making it her mission to dialogue with medical professionals and lobby for changes in the insurance, pharmaceutical, and travel industries so that women with hidden chronic and autoimmune disorders begin to feel that they are not alone; they are valued, and worthy participants in society.
