About Invisible Warriors
Seen | Heard | Connected
A sisterhood built in North Alabama, run by volunteers, for women who served.
Our story
It started with one woman listening.
Nancy Becher founded Invisible Warriors in 2022 after years of listening to women in the military community. Women veterans kept showing up, so they became the heart of the work.
Today we work in three lanes: Recognition, Community and Rally Point. We serve women veterans, active duty service members and women first responders, mostly in North Alabama. The IW Club reaches women across the country. Everything runs on volunteers.
For about a year we had a community center of our own. We lost it, and we kept going. We now meet online and at borrowed tables, and we’re looking for a permanent home.
Our mission
We build a sisterhood where women veterans, active duty service members and first responders are seen, heard and connected, to each other and to the support they’ve earned.
Our values
• Respect • Dignity • Connection • Integrity • Hope
Our vision
A country where no woman who answered the call is invisible. Where her contribution is recognized, her needs are met, and her sisters are within reach.
